Rain is a Pain for England's Game

Today, readers, Nightwatchgirl has been vindicated. The weather has, once again, been more influential than England in giving South Africa an extra lift in this series, because (as predicted), it rained. All bloody day.
Only 17 overs were bowled at the Oval, due to persistent and annoying rain. And, as play has been abandoned on this third day, it could be all South Africa need to secure a draw for this final test.
The only mini-breakthrough came off Stuart Broad's bowling, as he bowled McKenzie for 29. But it has been Amla who has been scoring the runs like they're going out of fashion, making 71 off 86 balls, leaving South Africa trailing by only 12 on 110-2.
Tomorrow's weather is looking far more cricket-friendly, so assuming the England bowlers can put on a better show, the game is hanging delicately in the balance.

Blown in from the spanish plains, huh?

Its predicted to be a bit better tomorrow but they say there's still possibility of some showers.

This one may end in a draw but many positives for England to take forwards, I think.
