Shah Shafted (Again)

Once again Owais Shah has been overlooked for the England side. Despite scoring runs, alot of runs, selectors still favour Ian Bell and Ryan Sidebottom in the bowling department.

What more does Shah have to do to get a place?

This seems incredibly unfair. He's proven himself time after time, yet he is still deemed too risky.

And don't get Nightwatchgirl started on Ryan Sidebottom.

Today should prove an interesting first day. NWG will be watching avidly.

I can't say what I said when Bell blew it on 28 earlier, this is a respectable blog and my language was certainly not respectable.

It is time that Ian Bell was sent back to county cricket to prove that he can dominate. Maybe he just hasn't got it for the very top level, like Graeme Hick he doesn't quite have that aggression he really needs.

It's a bit turgid atm. But what is this? Two spinners bowling in tandem in the first session on the first day of a test? I can remember the slaughter that was the 1985/6 West Indies tour, so this is anathematic to me...

But hey, Tony Cozier is commentating on the radio :)

Bring in Shah. NWG has made a ruling that should somehow have legal backing.
