And it was lovely.
The sun was out. There was actual cricket being played. And although nothing incredibly exciting happened, NWG was grateful to be sitting in the stands and seeing the game.
Hurrah for summer.
One new addition at The Oval were the permanent lights. They are huge. And hopefully will illuminate when the time comes.

...you could have said hi!
Hurrah for County Cricket! I plan to be at Hove sometime next week.
Yes hurrah!
Stani - NWG does not believe for one second that you were also at The Oval.
Lying is bad.
Yes NWG (TM)...as I said in a previous comment, me and your knee have something in common, we were both born bad.
Well I could have been there if you had told me. But no....you had to keep it all to yourself.
Greed is bad.
NWG is like the President of the United States. Her whereabouts are embargoed to prevent her celebrity status from getting out of hand.
But BHO always tells me where he's going.
...and NWG, the ECB say they had 30 applicants for the "team directors" role they gave to Flower....you didn't did you?
Of course NWG did. She's now an advisor.
Do you advise the night watch men?
No. Just the important people.
So you're saying night watch people are not important?
Who is it that has to pad up after a long day of bowling to go out and face 5lbs of leather coming at 90 mph just because Mr/Mrs/Ms/Miss top order batsmen/women can't be bothered to face a few balls at the end of the day?
Does NWG know what NWG thinks of NWG?
What NWG means is that she only deals with the suits not the players. She's very business minded and likes the corporate boxes.
I knew it.
There's me thinking dirty nails, bandages, plasters, red leather scuff marks down the trousers, sunscreen on the face but no!
You have to mingle with old Tarquine in the corporate boxes.
You've left your fans heartbroken
