Cor Blimey

So the day has finally come. NWG was avidly waiting for the big news on the T20 team, and wasn't it an interesting pick?

Paul Collingwood as captain (NWG likes).

James Foster in for Matt Prior (woo).

Graham Napier (very sensible choice).

Eoin Morgan (ok, so he's Irish, but he's good).

But Rob Key? (boo)

And, the most surprising of all? None other than Ryan 'I'm the moodiest man in history' Sidebottom.

NWG is officially starting a petition today for those wishing to express concern for Sidebottom's inclusion.

Sign up today. NWG needs you.

Count me in with your Sidey petition, even though you continue to voice your heinous opinions of the great Rob Key...

Count me in for the Bottomside petition.

....what's wrong with Blob Key NWG? I've always thought he was

NWG's dislike of Rob Key feels as if it is innate. He has done nothing to offend her, she is not a supporter or hater of Kent (most of the time), it's just something about him.

She will have a good think to see if there is really a reason.

I expected better NWG. I thought you was reason-able.

I don't like the way he speaks a rich kid who's been brought up on cups of tea and Mr Kipling's cakes. But that's no reason to dislike right?

...Blob Key hasn't said anything bad in the past about Hoggard has he? May be your dislike comes from that? How's that for analysis? Bosh!

Stani - you may be on to something there. Maybe Matthew Hoggard hates Key! And to be fair, NWG doesn't hate Key.

Stani Army said...

...that's better. NWG is fair.

Hate is bad.....unless it's aimed at Ryan Sidebottom....and Andrew Symonds....and...sorry, I'll stop otherwise will be here all day

Boo this:

[Makes rude hand gesture]

Robert Key is a saint - a saint, you hear...

[Muffled sobs recede into distance]

Saw Rob Key in the FP match against Middlesex today. Still unimpressed and don't see why Denly didn't get the nod over him. I don't dislike the guy, there's just something about his aura that doesn't sit well with me.

This Morgan lad can bat a bit can't he? Almost wet myself when Robert Croft was bemoaning Morgan's shot repertoire and needing rubber wrists to play some of the reverse hits. Very impressive.

Compton junior looks useful too. Middlesex are looking to have the potential for a good side, even with Angus Fraser in charge of cricket there.
