There was NWG thinking it would be a normal day.

Not today.

Also, congrats on getting your question read out by Simon Mayo on 5Live.

(Twas really sad when Hoggy started welling up when talking about his wife's breakdown in New Zealand. Started tearing up myself.)

Wow.
Turns out NWG might be a little bit gorgeous.

Lucky sod...Hoggard that is, of course.

For goodness sake Matthew, you could have made an effort. Look at the state of his hair. Someone chuck a comb at him.

Lisa - NWG can't believe she's met her Hoggard and then had her question read out. She's very tired and over-excited.

Anonymous - NWG can read sarcasm very well.

Stani - his hair was meant to be like that. Probably.

NWG is too gorgeous to be an anonymous cricket loving chick.

NWG---coming soon to a screen near you??

Stani Army said...

"her Hoggard"? Yuk! NWG please! Not here.

You didn't give Hoggy your blog address did you? Just imagine "Anonymous" turns out to be him!

always wondered what became of him, is he still involved in cricket?

Jamie might just have the hots for NWG... (and that's not me being sarcastic)

Glad you got to meet Hoggy; I like sportsmen, actors, et cetera who aren't completely up themselves and just genuine people, Hoggy strikes me as such a person.

Now I'm no expert, but I do believe from his body language that he is deeply in love with you.

Just saying.

Stani - NWG genuinely didn't mean to write her hoggard. That sounds very wrong. Computing error/grammatical mistake.

Ben - That's unfair. Stop being mean.

Jamie - Hoggard was very friendly. NWG couldn't have coped if he was a moody bugger.

Anonymous - stop with the sarcasm.

Amy - please stop....no stop. Please.

The first time you met Hoggy - how could you not have got his autograph before? Restraint - I like that.

Nice picture - you both have very nice hair.

And Ben - Karma will get you!

Ben said...

668 do you think the karma police will come to me in my bed?

have just listened to the promo he did with mayo, so i think i will add that i think he should be in the ashes team, so you dont think im being mean. he has just as much chance of getting wickets as flintoff. the selectors keep persisting with harmlessone and siders while they have not given him a look-in despite being england's 6th highest wicket taker. anderson taking the new ball against australia, oh please.

Did you both plan to wear blue or was it just a coincidence NWG?

The Nightwatchgirl said...

Stani - you know it was a coincidence (read fate). Stop being mean.

Stani Army said...

Fate? Yeh! Just like the guy's blue shirt in the background and the blue table 3 for 2 pomotion....fate.

The Nightwatchgirl said...

alright, alright. It was a joke Stani.

French Sydneysider said...

Oohlala!! It's not just the body language ... he signed "Love", didn't he??? He could have signed something more neutral like "Best wishes" or "Cheers"

Stani Army said...

Sorry NWG, I just wanted you to keep your feet on the ground that's all. People can get carried away thinking things were fate when they can easily just be coincidences.

French Sydneysider, I asked Hoggard what he meant by "love" and he said he did not mean: "To Nightwatchgirl love [FROM] Matt". What he meant was: "To nightwatchgirl [MAKE SURE YOU] love Matt". Which come to think of it, sounds much more realistic...him being married and that.

NWG is not a homewrecker. He was just being friendly. I also told him a joke as the photo was being taken, which he obviously found extremely amusing as NWG is hilarious.

Stani Army said...

Suppose we're not worthy enough for you to share the joke with us?

Was it about his hair? Must of been about his hair? What else could be that funny?
