And why is he playing Twenty20 cricket?
And why was he captain?
And how come South Africa were able to score so many runs?
And why was England's bowling so badly?

I could tell you the answer to the first three questions Nightmare, but I would just be accused of playing the race card.
And what is going on with Cook's tongue? It seems he is one of those people that thinks with his tongue ... I see lots of photos of him with it sticking out.
Saji was appalling today, despite getting one wicket. So was Rashid. Beyond that, give the Saffers some credit. They batted superbly.
Yes yes, alright Sid. NWG agrees that South Africa did play reasonably well....but, come on. England - where were they?
Stani - stop being controversial. Race has nothing to do with it. Cook just shouldn't be playing Twenty20. Fact.
Controversial? O stop being so naive Nightmare, honestly. More comfortable that way are we?
Ok, you tell me then why Cook is anywhere near a TWENTY20 side let alone its captain whilst the likes of Bopara and Shah don't even get a look in? Well? You can't can you? Welcome to the real world.
Sid,
How is Rashid supposed to do anything with one over? A real captain would have given his no.1 spinner the chance to come back instead of bowling Denly and Pietersen. So please, don't lower your standards of cricketing opinion and say things just because they're easy to say; you're better than that.
And Mahmood was 'appalling' as oppose to which English bowler?
Oh well Cook has done the decent thing and injured himself.
It is quite clear England needs a blond bowler who can deal in line and length - Hoggy is around in Safrica...and so too is Mark Davies - but that would be far too sensible
SixSixEight - YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS. You are so right.
Strangely - England have called up a blond bowler.....Mark will be joining the squad.
This is all very suspicious.....
