Australia, on the other hand, don't seem to like bowling. Or fielding. Or umpires. Or the English. No, NWG was wrong. They like Paul Collingwood and Ian Bell.
Is it just NWG that thinks Peter Siddle looks like a cross between Wayne Rooney and Shrek?

I went on day 2. Quite a good crowd of 67,000, although it was really cold. I wanted to see England batting, particularly Kevin. He made a slow 50 and just looked like he was about to start playing some shots when he got out. Trott set out to bat all day and was happy to keep defending and look for singles. He was rarely troubled by the bowling. Only Siddle had any joy and he obviously enjoys being in front of the hometown crowd. The Barmy Army section was making much more noise than the locals.
